This course covers the basics of research, filing a grievance, the difference between a complaint and a grievance. Members will learn how and when to advance a grievance to arbitration, how to prepare a grievance to management and understand how an arbitration hearing is conducted. This course is recommended for all new union stewards and as a refresher for current stewards.
