This course will establish what allyship is, and what the critical role of an ally is in the greater LGBTQ+ community. Participants will learn various strategies for becoming better, active allies, and, they will have the opportunity to reflect on how they can support LGBTQ+ people in their personal and professional lives. This workshop will contextualize the LGBTQ+ experience with human rights protections, labour history, and social justice.
