This workshop has already taken place.
This workshop will examine and deconstruct assumptions, stereotypes, and prejudices formed about the LGBTQ+ community. In addition, participants will have the opportunity to better understand crucial concepts like pronouns, gender identity, and sexuality. By the end of this workshop, participants will be well on their way to allyship—in and outside of the workplace. It is recommended that participants register for the second workshop, “Queer Folk You Know” to continue their learning.
