LIMITED TO 15 PARTICIPANTS:
This is the second part of a two part workshop will explore race, racism and the various ways in which both of these manifest and affect workers. Part one (Race & Racism) focussed on exploring power, privilege and the many ways racism exists (systemic, cultural, institutional etc). In part two (Disrupting Racism and the Labour Movement) of this workshop participants will begin by exploring what our roles can be in anti-racist movements, the role of unions in the past, and the various ways that different systems can interact to affect the experience of workers (class, race, gender etc).
This course is offered online via Zoom. Participants will need to have access to a reliable internet connection and provide their personal email upon registration.
